Repairs and restoration of blackout curtains


Each damaged curtain is different so are the costs. Each restoration or repair is carefully evaluated upon the complexity and time needed for service.

Simple mending (eg restoration of a small damaged area) approx $50 to $90
Complicated cases (eg blackout curtains protective layer sticking together) approx $100+

Repair of blinds and curtains


All parts supplied are brand new from our suppliers.
Rest assured that your replacement parts are new and not refurbished.

Cautionary Note

Restoration doesn’t work miracles, but the appearance of your damaged draperies will be significantly improved. If you think your home curtains are still in functional condition and can still use some restoration, you can restore it in its pristine condition with professional repair, but keep in mind these following points:
  • Cotton draperies will likely change in dimensions after the repair
  • Stains may not be removed by gentle cleaners. Usage of tough stain removal methods may result in fading or loss of color. Some stains contain chemicals that may affect the color of your drapery after removal.
  • Draperies with dry rot or show signs of deterioration might incur further damage during the dry cleaning. We will inform you before starting the restoration procedure if we think it’s a potential problem.
  • Dry cleaning curtains and draperies that were once poorly treated with flame retardant products may result in color stripping, major color variation or fabric deterioration. ​
  • Small repairs are free for every restoration process. However, if draperies require more than the minimal repair, additional fee will be charged.
  • Charges for the restoration are based on the total square footage of your curtain, pleating, lining and the size of the material turn backs.
